Ok, it's no record, but it feels damn good after 5 hrs a night. Got a little knitting in last night, too, while I was winding down.

The tour yesterday went well--ended up dong more chatting than touring, but that's ok. Probably should have tried harder to talk T into following me home and visiting there; the curb outside the greenhouse isn't the most comfortable seat in the world. Must remember to thank Donna for not chasing us out of the greenhouse lobby when she left for the day.

Today's plans, work-wise, are on hold until I see what the rain is going to do. Weather channel says it's probably here until noon, and if that's the case, and New Boss really won't be here today (his car wasn't in the parking lot, and I haven't seen him this morning), then I may spend the day knitting, or something similarly luxurious. By's got to work from noon to 4 today, and had planned to go back to bed after I left this morning.

Oh well. A rainy morning was a nice idea while it lasted. Rain's nearly gone here (for a while, radar indicates it might be back in an hour or so), and the sun's almost out. I suppose I ought to go do something productive.

Edit, 9:25 am--Got building trash done just before the rain started again. We now return to your previously scheduled knitting :)

The morning's rain stopped around noon, with another inch overnight and this morning. So everything's just too wet to go out and try to work this afternoon.

Managed to get the critical first increase area done on the second of By's kilt hose, and make it match the first one (go me!). Also managed to doze a bit here and there....knitting is rhythmic enough, and it's soooo quiet in here today. And few of my friends have been posting on lj--come on people, you're falling down on the job!

Does your lady still need bookshelves? We'll be emptying some of our old ones this weekend in favor of taller & sturdier versions. The old ones are the units Walmart sold about 10 years ago, 5' tall and 2' wide pressboard, still quite functional, just not enough for our collection. I think we'll get two of them cleaned out this weekend, which would be a good start for her stuff, if she still needs them.
