Jun. 26th, 2004 03:34 pmI feel like I could go to bed right now and sleep until noon tomorrow. PMS, gotta love it. Especially when I'm cycling two weeks late, and it has that much longer to build up.
Been mostly puttering at work the past couple of days....not much accomplished, but I've looked busy. Don't think the new boss has noticed the difference. Talked to my ex-boss a bit this morning while he was ingloating over his life of leisure visiting. He's enjoying being retired--his blood pressure is way down, and they've backed off on some of his heart meds, so it's been really good for him. Must remember to call him after work tonight with the info on the Brandeis book sale that's coming up.
We were going to go to the Pagan Drive-In Night tonight, but we're both running tired, and By has no idea when he's going to get home from work tonight, so we're going to stay home and veg. He said last night that Terry wanted to be done with the demo job today, if possible, so if it was late afternoon and there wasn't much left, he'd just stay and finish.
He's salvaged a pair of small hot water heaters (for my herb shed, and maybe one for the shop, too), more of those doors, some shelf-sized lumber, and a bunch of electrical outlet boxes from this job. And part of his stash went away Thursday night...Courtney came and took what shed parts she could fit on her dad's old truck, and she wants more when she can borrow a trailer.
