Jun. 24th, 2004 07:15 amSpent yesterday afternoon pulling weeds on the tree trail, and a good chunk of the evening trying to get the cottonwood fluff and pollen out of my lungs. I didn't sleep well last night, and I'm still itchy and plugged up today. Grrr.
I've got a couple of busy-work projects to do today. Got to put down more blood meal around my asters, 'cuz the rabbits think that flower bed is a salad bar, and the boss wants me to drive the gravel path on the tree trail and get the total distance on it. Very exciting.
Grounds Foreman is leaving next week. He's been actively looking for another job since he got turned down for the supervisor's position, but it's still kinda weird, thinking about work without him here as reference material. He's buying a construction cleanup business, I guess, going out on his own.
By ended up doing most of a day of demolition for Terry yesterday...suddenly, after being put off for one reason or another, Terry decided he could use By on that job too. So, he's got work today through Sat, at least. He came home with 7, 40" wide wooden doors from this project...they're destined to become countertops, for my workspace and the shop. And another box of yarn from Robyn. (I need to start moving those into the junk room--the living room is getting crowded).
I did remember to pull my renaissance music books last night, to take to practice. Betty's wanting to get started on music for RenFest this week. Not sure what day we're playing out there....hope it's later in the season, as late as we are starting on the music.
