I don't feel like I got a weekend, and this week at work isn't starting out any slower. Sunday was the HSA meeting, which shoots the whole day, this close to festival, and then dug plants to take with me on the running around Monday. Monday, I went to Leavenworth and dug plants from Betty's garden, then took stuff to school and potted it up for Donna, then back home and planted the rest in my garden. Yesterday, I spent working on the books to send with Albert to sell; I only got 6 done, too tired to move faster. Did get laundry done yesterday, though. And tonight, I get to water the new stuff in the garden, then gather the trash and clean litterboxes. Oh, joy.

And, I'm way behind in responding to emails. If you're waiting to hear from me, sorry 'bout that, I'll try to get to it today or tomorrow.

By's still salvaging piles of stuff from that warehouse....14' long boards and posts, last night. I think he's bringing home cement blocks tonight, and more posts. I guess they're getting close to done on it.

He's doing the "Kinky Garage Sale and Toymaker's Exhibition" again this year. Didn't sell much last year, and so he's not made anything new to put in the show, but he figured it was worth a try. That's Friday night, of this week. I can't remember if we have anything else going on this weekend. I hope not.

Still haven't heard from my sister about her test results; I hope that means it's good news. Tried to call last night, but no one was home.

Two things:

First, I finished reading that book you left me, it was way cool. Now I need to find my own copy, and the rest of the series.

Second, I finally got the last ingredient to do the shampoo bars, so I'm going to TRY to get those put together soon. The recipes all say they dry slowly, because of the higher oil content, and also they tend to be softer oils in general. If I get it done this weekend, figure they'll be ready by the end of May.

The tree house wars have begun. I pulled the first half-built one out of my tree trail an hour ago. Looks like the same kids as before. Hell, it even looks like the hammer I took away from one of the constructions last summer, that my boss made me return to the kids' mother when she complained!!!

Have I mentioned lately that I hate some people's children?

Spent the morning spraying, before it got too windy, and I went to check the tree trail.....was going to spend the afternoon chasing my tail the missing requisitions I never found last week, or watering the new plantings, but nooo, we get to have a "meet the new boss" meeting after lunch. Lovely.

AND, to top off my day, I'd forgotten that this was the Wedneday that Donna wanted me to do her pruning lab, so I'm going to be here until 8pm.

Somebody just shoot me now.
