Progress Report
Aug. 1st, 2004 01:05 pmF's room is cleared out and vacuumed, except for an old set of shelves we thought he might want. The sewing room is packed compeltely full--there's just enough room to open the door. We ran out of time, so we were just moving things last night, not sorting and putting away.
By just left to fetch the last (I think, anyway) load of F's stuff. I'm working on putting things away in the living room, so there'll be room for F's comfy chair in there. Yesterday, By moved some metal shelves into the living room, behind his chair, and we're putting all the accumulated magazines and patterns and notebooks there. Helps a lot.
I was going to run to Lawrence with a load of recycling while By was gone, but there are still rocks in my car. I decided that cleaning the living room was more important, time-wise.
The UnSock Report: Actually got a decent amount of knitting done during my cleaning breaks the past two days. I'm up to 24 pattern repeats for the edging of the lily of the valley shawl. By's sweater is now 9.5" along. I'm going to have fun getting more yarn out for it when these two skeins run out, though. The yarn is at the back of the sewing room, with a huge mound of boxes in front.
