Well, that was exciting. Had our first "come get your kid, he's hurt" call from school this morning. Seems he fell against a table and bit clean through his lip (I suspect there was chasing involved). Doc says The Boy doesn't need stitches (I can't imagine how I would hhave held him down for it, if he had), just watching to make sure the swelling stays down. And he's got a "prescription" for extra popsicles for the next couple of days.
