Less than an hour's crocheting left on costume bits, two loads of laundry done, a sinkful of hand-wash laundry (all-wool or alpaca socks) done, and the sugar cane brew is burbling a few times an hour already. The greenhouse mead has equallized pressure, but isn't burbling yet.

Haven't heard from the husband yet; am beginning to worry that Robyn talked him into extra hours for his last day. If I haven't heard from him by 7pm, I'll call and see what's up.

Off to crochet some more.

No kidding. When he finally got home last night (they'd spent some time settling up after his shift), we sat and smiled and looked at the stack of checks, and thought happily of all the things he'll no longer be asked to drop everything and do. His new boss says he's too expensive to be doing anything but metalwork.
