Further updates

treeskinStill waiting to hear from By's folks on exact travel plans. I'm sure we'll know that sometime today; his mom is efficient that way.
Called in to the greenhouse this morning, and Donna can do without me this week, so I get to stay home and pack and putter tomorrow. That'll help. Dr G was very sympathetic and helpful; there's a little paperwork I'll have to do next week, but he said it could all wait until I get back. Same with the interview for the teaching post (which was supposed to happen on Wednesday).
Donna's still all pissed with DG...she gave DG a talking-to this morning, and DG just isn't getting it. (DG's main comment, "I don't lie. I can't stand liars. I don't understand why we're having these trust issues.") But DG also says she's looking for an office job, full time, with benefits. Doubt she's going to find one, but I wish her luck. The sooner she's gone, the sooner we could hire Courtney or Brian as her replacement.
Gak. Just remembered, I've forgotten to call my mom about all of this. Gotta do that tonight.
Guess I'm going to go try to get hold of By's mom again, and go do some string. Gotta figure out what string I'm taking with me on this adventure, too.
