Jul. 30th, 2005 09:18 amAm better today. Both in terms of getting the medication fog out of me head, and the rash on my arms. Am starting to wonder if the rash isn't a reaction to the gloves, rather than poison ivy...the pattern is different. Or maybe I just started the antihistamines early enough in the process that the rash isn't completely developing. Either way, I'm a happier camper today than I'd expected to be, when I first noticed the problem.
Am back in the water truck today. There's spraying to do, and I'd honestly planned on doing it, but just didn't want to risk a coule hours in the chemical gloves and maybe an intensified skin reaction. And well, some of the trees just need it. (Not to mention, I need the "at work" down time.)
By's off running errands before he works the show this afternoon....he's dropping the tiller off at a friends, so they can redo their front lawn, and then delivering the bread and brownies to Aquarius, from there to Costco, then to work.
We're planning to be lazy this weekend, I think. Next weekend is a work weekend for HSA, plus the meeting, so we might as well enjoy the quiet now. Monday, I'm supposed to meet T at mead night, so I can try his sock on him, then I can get cracking on those. I hope to have them done by Aug 20 (Festival of Tara). **crosses fingers**

Date: 2005-08-01 05:27 pm (UTC)I need to be at the Charlesworths at 3 to watch kidlets for a couple of hours. Their nanny is moving out (and in with her boyfriend) this week, and they're still scrambling to find time or money for alternate childcare arrangements. All they need someone from 3-6, or something like that, and i can do that 2 days a weeks at least. Jen's employer is willing to let her do a home studio, so she can do her afternoon radio shift from home (which would fix the child care issue), but they can't do that until Nanny and her stuff are out.
And tonight, I'm staying late enough to catch the beginning of mead night, so I can do a kilt hose fitting on Taran.
Sorry I'm booked all of a sudden. Been thinking we needed to find time to get together and do something. Maybe we could schedule a girl date before school starts for you? I need you, or someone, to take me makeup shopping.
