About 2" from the heel split on the second green and yellow Turkish sock. And broke *2* needles on the damn thing over the weekend, very vexing.

Got a little done on the-up socks I'd started for myself a couple weeks ago. Hope to have those done soon. I need more machine-washable hand-knit socks.



The UnSock Report

Kiri is about 30" deep center back, slightly stretched. I need to decide how big I want to make the thing.

Was bad and started another lace project, because Kiri is good yarn and I didn't want to take it out to camp for during-the-meeting knitting. *shrug* I started another orenburg-style shawl, in the pheasant's eye lace, since I need to proof the pattern anyway. Already fixed an awkward spot in the edging, so it counts as progress.

Also pulled out an old UFO last week, a crocheted lace vest, tunic length, in Aunt Lydia's Denim Crochet. It's a cotton-acrylic blend, DK weight. It'd be nice to have to wear to Heartland, and it's not far from dead.
