I did get the two fothergilla installed at home on Sat, just in time to get rained in nicely. Helped By unload the truck after that evening: ceiling fans and track lighting for over my craft table, and brick. He never made it KCLU Sat afternoon; spent too much time helping Terry with the tear-out.

We did make it to the farm yesterday, despite my being sick the whole way there and back. Seemed to be some kind of stomach flu; I went to bed very earl (like 5:30!) and slept it off. But By managed to get pics of the furniture, and measure the things we want to bring back for our house, so we know how much space to make for it. He spent last night making a scale drawing of the new bedroom, and scale outlines of the bedroom furniture, to figure out if it'd all fit. (And it does, nicely.) We spent some time this morning discussing the order of renovation, and where to move things for storage until their final storage space is finished.

By's back at the tear-out job today, just picking up stuff I think. He wasn't looking forward to it, there's no heat in there.

I'm at the greenhouse today, which means it's almost spring. I repotted a forest this morning, about three dozen seedling oaks, english and swamp white and live oak and some weird little hybrid oaks. We likes oak trees, we do. Much more interesting than 500 petunia seeds, which were my other accomplishment for the morning.

We finally heard back from Indigo, about By & I adopting Heretic Camp out at Camp Gaea. Looks like that's a go. She told us we need to call the new caretaker and chat with him about the particulars. I'm looking forward to that...if nothing else, I'll feel better about diving into projects out there, knowing that we're the official sponsors of the area.

Must remember to get asprin at the store on the way home. Tuffy's been limping the past two days...we can't find any swelling in the bad leg, and he seems somewhat better today. We think he jumped down from a counter and landed wrong; poor old boy isn't as spry as he used to be. He's starting to get that "old man" look...skin and muscles shrinking around his bones, so his bones show prominently. May have to think about making "old cat" ramps up into some of the furniture for him.
