Oct. 1st, 2004 06:34 amIt's Friday again, and I haven't taken the time to update in a week. Bad me, no cookie. Too many other things to do, and we're dodging the boss more at work, so it's not as easy to update from work now.
Last weekend was full. We never did get the "day of sloth" we'd declared on Saturday. By & I went in to "just do a couple of things" before going to the Plaza Show, and he spent 5 hours finishing the list she'd left for him, then we delivered the stuff she'd asked for and walked the show. I got knitting done while I was waiting, so life was good. Sunday we ran around RenFest for a couple of hours, bought tights for him and a skirt and chemise for me for this coming Sunday, went home for a little bit, then back to the Plaza to take the booth down and haul it back to the studio.
By worked for Johnny on Monday and Tues, and is working for Robyn the rest of the week. They're open tonight for first Friday, if anyone is interested.
Work's ....there. The new boss is uber-annoying. Turf Guy actually left work yesterday, on an "errand", rather than eat at a special lunch with him. Don't think the new boss realized it, either. The administration here may find themselves posting his position before they get Johnny's filled.
Talked to Sis night before last. The little one still has a bit of a heart murmur, but it's almost gone, and the doc says he'll outgrow it soon. He goes in for more testing next month. Sis also says the little one is 13 pounds now (at 4 weeks, that's a lot of baby). She's amused; she's still healing, and can't lift more than 15 pounds until after her doctor's appointment on Monday.
I had printed out the schedule from RenFest, intending to post it on here in case anyone wanted to come giggle, but Betty kept it after rehearsal last night. I'll look it up later today and post.
