Jul. 2nd, 2004 07:16 amNot as busy a day at work yesterday; got an hour or so off due to rain before lunch, so I'm nearly up to the ribbing on the sock I've been working on for By. Looks like there may be more time off for knitting today.
Courtney didn't make it over last night to get the rest of her shed parts, and C & A were late getting down here and getting their camp set up, so I could have gone to rehearsal. But the break was nice. I spent my rehearsal time downloading patterns from the most recent issue of Knitty, and picking up stitches along the side of the shawl. Got that done, and the second corner finished last night.
Will probably spend an hour or so plantnig when I get home tonight, since I STILL have those two flats of leftovers from the greenhouse on the sidewalk, and it'd be nice to get them in the ground before we take off for the weekend. We're headed to Omaha Sat evening, to see the rest of the Heretics.
Ah, speaking of Heretics, A has his social security card now, and a bank account (both as of lst week), and they just told us last night that they just signed the contract on a house. (Not that these things will remove all their stress, but it's good to see life going their way for a change.)
