Brief knitting update
Jan. 10th, 2004 06:17 amNo socking to report yesterday. Did get the body finished on the Lopi sweater, the sleeves joined to it, and the first 5 rnds of the yoke done. And, I remembered to try on the body before I joined the sleeves--much better fit this time. Still don't like colorwork at this gauge.
The Sweater is 1 1/2" deep now, still in the corrugated ribbing. Still don't like corrugated ribbing, but the end is in sight. Texture is lovely already--this fabric is still dense, but being so wide, it's much more flexible than in the socks. Still on gauge, too. Woo hoo.
Brought the Greco-Turkish socks to work today, to weave in ends. (Must find lucet so I can do the cords for these.) And a couple skeins of sock yarn, since I don't know what I'll be in the mood for later.
