Got the heel turned on the aran sock yesterday afternoon, and the gusset sts established; got the gusset decreased out last night; ought to have this sock finished today. I tried it on last night; the pattern displays wonderfully. I will knit these again.

Note to self: #2's are easier to handle in the heat/humidity than #0 needles.

I ought to be working on the spiral rib sock this morning, while it's still cool and my hands are rested.

I actually have worked today--I'm already filling the tank for the second time, having watered two shrub beds and a bunch of perennials.

Very exciting. Truly.

So exciting, in fact, I've been thinking of nothing but knitting all day.

Got two pattern repeats of the spiral rib done (that's 48 rnds, incase you're wondering), and am a bit over half done with that sock. It's now warm enough to put that project down and work on the aran sock again.

Tonight, I need to start the second sleeve on the grey sweater. I'll do the first 13" in the dark grey yarn, and then see how much of that I've got left. I plan to switch to a dark blue with the grey runs out, and I'm trying to decide whether to just do a straight line, or do the exchange in some sort of a pattern in hope of making it look more intentional.

This weekend, I must start the second of the turkish socks for Ranj, and start planning the heel on those. Classics_cat, I'm still looking for Greek designs for yours. Suggestions/pointers might be helpful.

When the Icelandic sweater is done, I want to start swatching for the laced-up long-sleeved T that By let me buy as my birthday indulgence. I've been eyeing that yarn and pattern long enough.
