Brownie points for the tall man
Mar. 16th, 2003 09:20 amI ended up leaving work early yesterday. What else do you do when the boss says, "It's 2:30, the place is dead as a doornail, and it's a beautiful day. What I don't know won't hurt me, and I don't know if you're here or not. And I'm not going to go looking for you, either." I'm not stupid, I left. Quickly. Before he changed his mind.
When I got home, By hadn't returned from his Harbor Freight trip (yes, I let him go tool shopping unsupervised). When he does get home, he grins, reaches into his vest pocket, and pulls out a surprise--a new set of #2 sock needles. (Someone's been reading my journal!) What else do I need in a man?
Had a lovely visit with classics_cat, despite her having car trouble. I like having her around to talk to, I think I knit faster. I finihsed the heel on the alpaca sock last night, and am now up to the ribbing. I'll have these things finished today.
