Got an email from Donna this morning, with an update from Stan and Myrna. Well, from Myrna anyway--Donna says they've moved a hospital bed into the house, and he's not really been coherent since Myrna got home from the hospital after her surgery a couple of weeks go. Donna said he started using the pain meds the beginning of the month, which is the down slope for this kidn of cancer. Nothing I can do about it, but it's still very very sad. I hope the last is quick, and I hope he can't feel anything anymore.


I have watched way too many people die of cancer in my lifetime.
