treeskinCan't get Mom to answer her phone lately; am hoping it's just bad timing on my part, and not that she's really sick again. Will try Sis today, see if I can chase her down that way.
The Sock Report: Have half a pattern repeat left on the second sock for By's dad, and then the ribbing, and then they're finally done. Am completely sick of the pattern; it was all I could do last night to make myself slog through a couple hours' work. Wound off and balled another pair of socks' worth of yarn from the big cone, partly for the pair for By's mom, partly because I'm afraid I'll get down to the last inch of knitting on this pair, and run out.
Am still procrastinating on the dolls. I may take a break from knitting later today, and get the next set of parts turned and stuffed. No matter what, I'm telling myself that I've got to have at least two dolls faced and finished by Monday. And preferably dressed by Wednesday.
I also **really** need to put together a pattern for a capelet, crocheted, doll-size, and start sending it to my doll list. I'd told the ladies back in October I'd try to pull something together as a CAL, then my hands got bad, and the contractor went bad, and it didn't happen.
