Behind on journalling, again
Sep. 28th, 2003 09:15 amBlew off work yesterday, so I'd be awake for the Jen & JC's wedding. Probably a good thing I did; I was crashed in my chair before 8pm Friday night, and woke up at 5am Sat morning just long enough to call in sick and go back to bed for 4 more hours. A Jera with sleep is a much happier Jera.
The wedding was lovely. Lots and lots of people, many of whom didn't know each other. The "groups" were obvious--his family, her family, their coworkers, the rennies, and the pagans. Kinda fun to watch. Jen should wear a scarlet sari more often--weeee!
The kittens are adjusting to life in the big house with the other cats. The rest of the cats are adjusting to a pair of furry little terrors gallumphing through the house at random intervals. Spats has been a nervous wreck (I mean, more than usual) for a week.
The best kitten moment of the week: Faulks, the little tabby, doing a Tarzan off the bed, using By's braid as a rope.
Jen, being the lovely person that she is, gave us a media pass for Renfest, so we're going out today, to watch her and JC in the chess match.
