I've been awake and functional for hours already--got to work at <b5:30</b>!!! By choice, too. What was I thinking?
(Actually, I was thinking that I wanted to spray the weeds in the parking lots before there were too many cars to dodge. Doesn't productivity suck?)
I get to go pull down another tree fort on the tree trail this morning. A bit more elaborate than the last one, but I suspect it's the same kids. I could, quite cheerfully, strangle them and their parents. Little shits were even cutting down the small trees and overhanging branches to make room for their construction. Sheesh. I'll be really glad when school starts, and they don't have time for this.
Got very little knitting done last night, an inch or so on the fronts of the tied-up tee, but I did get the flier for the <a href="http://www.worldinter.net/~bephill/Harvest%20Festival%20Flier.htm">Heretic Camp Harvest Festival</a> slapped together and online. Nothing fancy, but it works. Hope A & K like it, since we've been working on it the last month without their input. I think they're supposed to get back this weekend, or early next week.
M's back from her vacation to Cancun; sounds like she enjoyed herself. And her ex is actually being cooperative about child care while she's at work in the evenings, which is really out of character for him. For her sake, I hope it lasts.
I'd hoped to get some knitting done today during work, but Courtney didn't get any sleep last night, so she won't be in until 8, which means that she'll be in the water truck all afernoon. There goes my knitting. I'll get to work on it tomorrow morning, and all day Saturday. I'm going to a seminar/tour of the KSU Trial Gardens at the hort farm in DeSoto tomorrow afternoon.
