Nemesis Strikes Again, Further Developments

Scene 5 -- Day after scenes 1-4, Cheese's office

Synopsis -- in which Yours Truly has a brief discussion with Cheese about the stack of work orders for Inner Campus, and how Yours Truly does not feel she should be held responsible for those, per an earlier agreement with Cheese and Bigger Cheese that this area was Nemesis' responsibility. Cheese agreed that that still held, and that the department would have endure some ripples of discontent from up the administrative ladder to get "something done" about Nemesis. (Yours Truly knows better than to suggest a deep hole someplace secluded; that offer's been shot down too many times.)

Yours Truly also learns in this discussion that the much-hoped for discussion between Bigger Cheese and Nemesis did not take place, despite Bigger Cheese's assurances that "he would take care of things". So, nothing will come of Nemesis' rumor-mongering and sowing of discord among the troops.

Cheese passes on one final bit of information--that Super Cheese, who is new to the college, and whose last job was facilities director for a hospital chain in St Louis, may be lowering himself into the hot water. Super Cheese has been asking larger suppliers for perks and bribes (for lack of a better word)--no big deal where he came from, but strictly forbidden in a state institution.
