I'm back!!!

I love my mother dearly, and I would have spent weeks kicking myself if I hadn't gone, but I am SO glad to be home.

Mom is doing ok--she can get in and out of her chair and bed by herself, and fix meals, and do laundry. And she's got people lined up to drive her in to Salina for groceries and her checkup next week, so I was free to come home.

I'll type more later; lots of catching up to do.

Re my new icon--I couldn't find a rendering of a mint plant I liked, so I went looking for poisonous plants instead. That's Podophyllum peltatum, American mandrake.
