This may be the only one of these she's got. I could arrange a cutting, if you like, though it'd take a couple of years to reach blooming size.

Yup. It means blooms eventually. Kinda like that giant amorphophallus Donna bought, that's an apricot-sized bulb now, and will (hopefully) be blooming size within a decade.
