So, my sister called last night

...And thankfully, only talked about 10 minutes. But in that 10 minutes we established that her life is still the soap opera that I expect/dread whenever she calls.

The latest? She got a restraining order against Harry on Tuesday, because he's threatened to kill her at least once (she didn't get far into details on this, and I didn't ask). Guess she's worried that, even though he's supposed to be leaving from Mississippi for Kuwait the end of this week, he may turn up locally and cause problems.

No word on how the rest of that mess is going. She had to leave to take a call from one of her foster parents, and I was a coward, and didn't call her back later.

This probably sounds terrible, but I try not to think about her situation most of the time. I'd go crazy worrying about her if I did.
