Not a good start

Traffic was buggered the whole way into work this morning. Tell me--where does it say that the presence of a police car in the median means that every south-bound car has to slow to 15 mph below the speed limit??? ANd there were three cops on Hwy 7 between Bonner and Hwy 10 this morning, which meant I got up to posted cruising speed exactly twice the whole way.

And then, they've got a lane of College blocked at College and Pflumm, which has traffic backed up to the bridge over I-35, but which isn't marked as going down to one lane until half a block from where they closed the lane. Bastards. Took me 15 minutes to go those three blocks.

And then, some schmuck is in my parking space when I get to school, and I have to clean off my desk before I can get ready to start my day (and it's not my shit on the desk, so....).

And, to top it all off, the transcript I requested from KSU, and requested that they send Priority Mail, obviously isn't here, because I got an email from HR reminding me that they've got to have it ASAP. Bugger.

That makes me peevish too. Slow down to the speed limit, yes. But doing 55 in a 70 while the cop can see you does not get you special points.
