I get to start the day with peace and quiet

New Boss and The Other Dave left a little while ago to fetch yet another rental van (because this weekend's fleet schedule is just that foobarred). So, I get to spend the first hour or so of my day eating my breakfast and lj-ing without the boss being antsy over my shoulder.

Must get more than 5 hrs sleep tonight, or I shall fall asleep at the movie tomorrow evening, and I'm not sure my friends would forgive me. I've spent too much of my after-work time on the phone this week, and it's caught up with me.

You'll miss seeing By in a kilt, and myself in a nice bodice and skirt and such. (Like, girlie-girl clothes. Scary, ain't it?)

Re the nap: Forgiven. I'm sorry I wasn't more myself on the phone last night...I've spent so much of my time and energy on other people the past week or so, I'm realizing I need to stop and refill myself, as it were. And don't you feel guilty! It's not your fault that everyone's issues happened to coincide this week. It is, however, mine for not speaking up sooner and saying that I need a bit of down time.
