treeskinThe construction super cornered me yesterday morning to ask when those trees were going to get moved. Ummm.....the ground was a little wet, but I called Kokopelli anyway. Out they came, with a really big truck, and after making a new door in the fence we got to move the trees. Got 2 of 3 trees moved. The third was too close to a concrete curb, and they just couldn't get enough of the roots.
That was an impressive machine. It cut a 60" wide by 66" deep hole in the ground, picked up the dirt, dumped the dirt, then plucked out the tree and popped it in the first hole. Weee! I didn't ask if I could play with their toy--it looked like too much to mess up. But boy, it was fun to watch.
