Just talked to the SCI dept secretary. My interview is at 2:30 on Monday. (Note to self: dress is business casual. Must check and see if I still have appropriate attire.)

Donna said that there were 4 apps total. We don't know who the others are; we do know that Dr G talked the teacher out of applying, by giving her more teaching hrs. (That's not a bad thing, I've been told she's a good instructor.)

Could one of the other apps be the old lady part timer? Or did she get disuaded too?

Nope. She's in NO WAY qualified. If only because of the "must be able to lift 60 lbs" requirement. (My current job requires lifting 80 lbs, so that's no problem.) And I think she's on some kind of disability, so she couldn't take a full time job anyway.
