There's something wrong with this picture. Wrong, for values other than "two days on 4 hrs sleep a night." The cheapest gas I saw on the way home last night was $2.859. That same station was $3.069 this morning. And the highest, at Hwy 7 & I-70, started at $3.149 **sigh**

I need a nap. By REALLY needs a nap. Don't have any idea when he came to bed last night. He stayed up to finish that dispatch case for Albert (which better be done, because he called Albert last night to arrange delivery today). Looks good, too.

At least the gas stations there HAVE gas. All the pumps are dry down here.

Donna just told me that there are gas stations in Shawnee that are out of gas, here. She's going to go buy a 5-gal can and keep it in the car, just in case. I suppose By & I ought to do the same.

Fuck. At least I filled up yesterday, although not before the 15 cent hike. I'm still kicking myself for that--I might not even have been late to class.

Ditto. I thought about it, but didn't, because I had half a tank. I'm going to tonight, just because it'll only get higher this weekend.

I payed $2.96 last night on the MO side. It was pretty sad, I had to have a conversation with John about "weather or not" I should buy gas or try to hold out. I have never had to do that before. We have conversations about anything over $100.00, but we have never had to have one about buying gas. Gas is no longer part of our expendable income, we have to budget it.

We hadn't been for local stuff, but the past year we've been budgetting for long-distance trips. Going to Omaha to see Ashe and Karen, for instance, or going west to see my family.

Now....well, at the very least, I have an unquestionable reason why I can't visit my mom more often. And we probably won't make it out until Thanksgiving, instead of sometime this month, with the truck, to put up that fence she wanted.

I know, we have to go to Oklahoma in two weeks and trying to figure out how we are going to pull that off. At least we won't have to take the truck.
