treeskinThe Sock Report: Have finished gusset increases on BOTH of T's socks, and need to spend a little skull sweat figuring out the proper proportions for the heels. Damn, the man has big feet. Have talked myself into a trip to Yarn Barn on Monday, to buy a #2 12" circ (maybe two, it'd go faster), because I've got about a hundred sts on the dp's right now, and that's already too many.
The UnSock Report: Got another row and a half done on the butterfly shawl. Am telling myself that the slow progress is acceptable, because (1)I just spent the whole day knitting on socks, and my hands are tired, and (2) the rows are over 100" long now. Still....I've hit the "bog down" point of the project, where the only recourse is to slog through and finish, , but all I **want** to do at this point is put it down and play with something else.
Oh, and those #2 circ's? Just the right size for those lacy camisoles I'm contemplating. I foresee new yarn in my future :)
