Knitting Reports
Jul. 22nd, 2005 07:17 amTh Sock Report: Still need to graft the toes together on my Aran sandal socks, and weave the ends in, but they're done otherwise. (Did a fair bit of knitting at the conference yesterday. I'm bad that way.) Yay for new socks!
The UnSock Report: The Spiral Nebula Shawl is at 22" as of last night. That's about that I thought I'd have yarn for, so the fact that I've got enough yarn for at least 3-4 more inches of depth, plus however much it'll block out, makes me very happy. I like big fluffy shawls. Still debating on adding the stripe of ribbon yarn (Reynolds Ritz, I checked the label last night), but I've got until the end of this ball of yarn to decide.
Figured I'd be watering **something** in the truck today, so I packed several small projects--T's kilt hose, a ball of sock yarn (from birthday care package my mother-in-law sent this year) for myself, and the start of a second Frecklegirl thong, because I'm getting into this fun underwear thing.
When I get one of the big projects off my needles, I found something I REALLY want to make and wear--the Hush Hush nightie from Knitty. Cute, isn't it? Knit on 2's, but it's knit in the round the whole way up, which makes it much more doable. Really, the gauge is bigger than what I'm using on The Sweater (which is the project I've got to get off the needles first). And I've been needing extra motivation to finish that piece.
