It's the story of summer. The Other Dave just came back with a brand new weed eater for the shop, and I'm bored, but I'm not bored enough to get excited about that particular purchase.

Wonder if anyone's awake for phone calls? *sigh* Might wait a little while, it's still early.

Was bored enough to spend 20 minutes changing the layout of my journal (which is much easier and faster on the work connection). May go play with it some more, since I've got another 40 minutes on that tank.

Sheesh... dealing with landscape, you can imagine the fun I am having dealing with a 1 man auger and roots from a tree felled but not stumped last year.

And just checked the local weather. 89 and humidity in the mid 50% range.

I need some dynamite. lol.

Enjoy your watering and lazy day.

I am VERY sympathetic. Tree roots can be a real pain. Good luck, and try not to get too overworked in that heat.

(I'd enjoy my lazy day much more if I could forgo the watering and just nap, but I can't, in good conscience, so....)

Well, this you will also sympathis with, as you are aware of my proclivity for getting blisters.

So far, I have 4 on my right hand, one of which popped, and 6 on my left hand, 4 of which were of the blood type, and of those, one popped.

**wince**

Dude, the money spent on a decent pair of leather work gloves is well worth it. Trust me.

Ouch.

Double ouch.

That's the down side to school & the office job, I guess--gives your hands time to get soft. (Not that I'm complaining about soft hands, mind, just making an observation.)

I'm still waffling on it. It looks cool, but it loads slower from home. *shrug* I'll give it a week, and see how i feel then.
