Long-awaited knitting pics, part the second: Kelp and Cowry Lace

This scarf is worked from a group of edging and insertion patterns developed by the ladies on the knitted lace list, and I don't remember if those are available to folks not on the list (If it's not, and someone wants the pattern, I can write up my version.)

The scarf is about 8" wide and 60" long, worked in a natural wool single (part of the weaving yarn I inherited from Myrna), and I think I used a size 4 needle. Not sure how much of the pattern shows in the pics, but the kelp pattern in the center is fairly compicated; I'd call this an advanced intermediate level pattern.
