Work work work

It's still raining, kinda. Good for my little trees, though.
My at-work accomplishment for the week: I successfully took apart my 25-gal spray rig, cleaned the various parts, and REMEMBERED WHERE THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO GO. Even managed to piece together a substitute for the one damaged piece; not an elegant solution, but functional.
The rest of the afternoon should be fairly low-impact. I've already started knitting--another turkish sock. This one's medium blue pattern on a mushroom-colored background. The pattern is similar to the "snowflake" or star patterns on traditional northern European sweaters. It's actually based on a mitten pattern from the Komi tribes in northern Russia; same design influences. It's a 24-row pattern repeat, but I think it ought to be easy to keep track of, the rhythm of the pattern makes it easy to see what's supposed to be next.
