Just finished the collar piece for the first sweater. It's now a soggy pile, wrapped up in towels next to the heater. It's not the standard method of blockign knitting, but I lack the cat-free horizontal space to just stretch things out and let them lay there until dry. So, I get it stretched, then roll up the towels (carefully!) and put the more compact bundle off to dry somewhere.

Sounds as if knitting has taken on various incarnations of evil for you. If you would like to come over and use one of our tables to stretch it out, along with a cat-free environment please call. Why don't you do that anyway? We miss you.

It's not really that bad. I've got all the good-drying spots figured out. Complicated comes tomorrow when I go to stitch that collar on; I'm not sure how that's going to work yet.

As for visiting....By's been taking my car in to work when I'm not using it, to save on gas money. And y'all are working when we at home and awake enough to be decent company. (Which isn't often, witht he amount of time I've spent doing snow lately.)
