treeskinYes, yes I'm working, honest. I'm waiting for the icemelt I put down after lunch to kick in. That's work. Really.
Anyway,
I mentioned a couple entries back that I wanted to start something to use up the cone of wool singles that I just did the Flower Basket Shawl in. This seascape pattern might be just the thing. (The second picture, of a swatch in white yarn, gives a clearer view of the pattern.) I'll need to come up with a smooth top/bottom for it, maybe the Scallop Starter at the bottom of this page. Get it knitted up, wash and block it, then maybe paint it to emphasize the kelp pattern.....
