May. 21st, 2012 10:31 amYay for new toys!
By scored a Craftsman walk-behind string trimmer at a garage sale recently, for silly cheap for such a thing. After a week of trying to start it, he took it in to the repair shop, who did a fine job for reasonable (also yay!), and we got it back this morning.
So far, it's mowed down buckbrush, random tall grass and weeds, small bits of the local scrubby dogwood, and wild rice without problem. And it's easy to push. Yay! He's off to mow the icky steep parts of the ditch now, and maybe our neighbor's ditch, because it's just a fun machine.....
