Yup, one of those weeks.

By come home from work last night after a bad day...mostly smaller issues, but someone had noticed his jewelry at the annual show, and put it on one of the wishlist forms, and Robyn told him yesterday morning he wasn't to wear any of his jewelry in her gallery anymore. Major bummer. Not the best idea on her part, I think, but she's the boss.
No sign of the roommate since he called Saturday evening and said he'd be visiting Nancy. We've kept his cat locked up the whole time he's been gone. I know the poor cat's got to be lonely and bored, but he's also flea ridden, as is the carpet and everything else in Frank's room,a nd I'd prefer the infestation stayed there. Until Frank is home (and awake and away from the tv) long enough to do something about that, the cat stays in purda.
Switched back to knitting with yesterday's crafting. By's sweater only lacks half a sleeve, two seams, a collar, and some untucked ends, so not too much longer until that's done. I took my aran socks with me while we were running errands Monday, and the second sock is half done--need to pick up stitches along the heel, do the gussets and foot and toe, which is the quicker stuff. I'm contemplating a set of aran socks for By, knee-high, with the full cable patterning, but I need to measure his legs and get yarn for that.

I don't remember if we've ever shown you any of his sketchbooks from his college years, but half the stuff in there could pass for Robyn's work, once made it. That's just how he designs, always has. It complicates things greatly.
