Finally, real content
Jan. 20th, 2006 09:56 amI've been busy the last few days, but not with anything interesting, and sick on top of that, and yesterday I had killer cramps on top of everything else. Except for the weather, today is much better.
I've pulled things for DG to repot, cut back a bunch of things, sprayed the bug table, and am enjoying a break and the rest of my can of Coke.
I guess there was nearly a riot in the plant problems class last night. Half the class was in that section to avoid taking it from MC, and there she was, subbing for the regular instructor because he forgot that classes started this week. Oooops.
Donna's got a nutcase in home hort this semester. The first lab was a simple germination test, to show them how to do it, and do a basic run through of scientific method. This lady wanted to take her seeds home, run their astrological charts and feng shui them, and pestered Donna most of the class about why she didn't use rosewater in starting seeds, because there's this book that says rosewater has the perfect vibrations for new seedlings....She's gonna have fun this semester. (And better her than me.)
Dug out the recipe for portabella and sausage soup last night. I'll start it tonight, and we'll eat well all weekend.
Only managed a few rows on the second kilt hose sock, maybe an inch or so done overall. Just couldn't focus on anything last night.
