Up too late again last night, between company and a short phone date and By getting home after 10, and staying up to talk to him. The event they hosted last night went ok, some problems but nothing catastrophic, and they had some sales. It's so funny, watching him leave for work dressed in scruffy constructin-worker clothes, and seeing him come home with his hair brushed out and the tux on.

Had a pleasant afternoon with the kidlets. Should have thought ahead better, and stayed at least a few minutes after Mary got home...I435 is not a goo dplace to be at 5:15pm. It took me half an hour to get from 435 and Holmes to the turn-off for I-35. Gak. All that time wasted, because traffic moved just enough I couldn't knit. *sigh*

Had a good visit with [livejournal.com profile] classics_cat, who has become a much better knitter than she gives herself credit for. If you know her, ask to see the new sweater. It's nice.

The other computer is back in the shop, and all my tree trail records are still on it, so life is better in that regard. We're trying to rig a second truck with water tank and pump today, because New Boss has to go water the @#$@# sod, and we're not done doing trees. If all we get is 1/4" of rain tomorrow, I'll be watering trees the rest of the week, because the irrigation on the tree trail is completely buggered, and some of the stuff I'd been hoping that system would take care of is wilting and stressed. *sigh*

Done spraying, and am once again allergy-ridden. Nose, from walking through shoulder-high ornamental grasses (that are flowering right now) to spray weeds. Arms, from chemical gloves and juniper branches and grasses irritating last week's rash. Legs, from the grasses, and all the pollen and molds and dust that they catch. Grrrr.

The guys got a second tank rigged up, so Courtney's been in that all morning while the boss watered sod, and I get the big truck and tank this afternoon. My trees are SO not happy right now. (Neither are my hands, but I think I'll put up with it, so I can get some mood-smoothing knitting done this afternoon.)

Haven't talked to Donna yet today, but there was nothing posted about the greenhouse job on the campus jobs page. **sigh**
