Had a lovely weekend. Went to dinner Sat night with By and Tristan (which was all kinds of fun, I love getting dressed up for the boys), introduced Tristan to the delights of Half Price Books, came home and got snuggled. Got to laze around Sunday afternoon, and cuddle and knit and watch movies. Life is good.

jenadriene's house yesterday, to watch kidlets in between adults leaving for and getting home from work. She has cool kidlets, and we had a good time. Stayed for the evening, so I could catch T and make him try on his sock. And!!!! it fit!!!! It's so rewarding when you do al the measurements for something, and it works the way you plan. I'll work on those socks while I'm there tihs afternoon.
Heard that the psychic fair/fundraiser went really well. Didn't get numbers or anything, but the ladies who organized it sent out a thank-you to all who contributed, and said they were very pleased.
Robyn's sale last week wasn't as well attended as she'd wanted, but I guess they got some sales. Now they're looking forward to the Plaza Art Show in September. And in between, they're talking about By going out to her property and getting the pole barn up, so it doesn't sit on the ground all winter.
By left for work early today--Albert called about 9 this morning, saying he had sheets of cultured marble at this job that needed to go away, and needed to do so by 12:30 today. Not sure how many, supposedly they match a two-sink vanity he brought home a while back. He's thinking that rather than tile, the shower in the master bath will be this marble (maybe more, depends on how much he brings home).
Am still snickering at myself a bit....we now have "his" and "hers" and "his" stuff in the bathroom. Not sure why this amuses me so much, but it does. Am tempted to go out and buy a couple of black bath towels, to complete the second "his" set.
