Has a semi-productive day yesterday. Meeting with the first contractor about replacing trees per warranty went well; he didn't argue with us. New Boss thinks his company wants JCCC business, and is probably right. Let's hope the meeting this afternoon with the contractor from the other project goes as smoothly. (Today's guy was a pain in the ass last fall, when we were trying to get replacements then.)

Got some stuff planted in the yard last night--verbenas and red dragon around the limestone birdbath, alyssum around the geranium planter, variegated elderberries in the pine row, to mark the new path up to the iris beds. I need to work on a couple of retaining walls, so I can plant those beds. May or may not get done this week, depends on my energy levels.
