Other stuff
Feb. 4th, 2005 07:29 amGoing to bed after midnight on Wed night was not the wisest thing I've done recently. Trying to work hard clearing underbrush yesterday wasn't smart either. Got to bed at 10:30 last night. That helps. Not enough, but it helps.
I finished the half-done temari from the night before last (the fussy one with 24 vertical divisions on a little bitty ball). That makes 17 finished, another 15 wrapped and ready to stitch, and 32 styrofoam balls waiting for the yarn wrap. (Yes, I know what that adds up to, and no, I don't need that many for Robyn's milestone birthday. One-inch styrofoam balls come in packages of 16.) I'll wrap a few more tonight, try to get a big batch ready to stitch so I can work on them in the car on Sunday.
Looks like the weather and our schedules are cooperating this week, and we'll be heading down to the farm Sunday to look at the furniture. Don't know what else we'll get done while we're there, if anything. I'd like to dig some of the peonies while they're still dormant, move them to my yard, but the forecast for the farm is rain all day Sunday.
By's got First Friday tonight, and a Valentine's day show a week from tonight. Michelle, who does the Sugarveil stuff, will be there again, as will the gal with the Very Good Chocolates.
