....and the rest of the weekend to get our sleep schedules back in order. We got up at 11 today. Hey, that's earlier than yesterday.

The party was fun. We stayed much later than we usually do at such events, didn't get home and to bed until nearly 4am (which was why we didn't get up until noon yesterday). Spent lots of time talking, and just watching people. Several folks noted that it was the first time they'd seen me without knitting, which amused me. Got nice compliments on my stockings (the knitted grey ones), and on my hair, because I'd braided a shiny gold scarf into it, and it looked complicated.

By discovered that taking mostly-done toys to these parties and finishing them there is good advertising. I think the angel-hair flogger he was workign on is sold, and someone else wanted a similar one. So, we made a Hobby Lobby run last night, for nylon cord and crafty odds and ends.

Frank and Nancy started packing his stuff last night. (Actually, we're guessing he bitched while she did the packing, but anyway...) I guess he's staying with her. Can't blame him for not wanting to sleep in that room, I wouldn't want to either, but it's current condition is entirely his fault. And they took his cat with them last night, so we don't have to worry about that. Supposedly his sister is coming with a truck next Saturday to get his stuff.

By & I are finallizing what we want to do in that room, decor-wise, so we can get on it as soon as his stuff's out of the way.

Brenda called twice yesterday. Once to chat, and calm her nerves, before a first date with someone she's been talking ot online. Second time, to give us the report of how it went. We're crossing our fingers for her, she's been lonely for a long time. She's got the mead-making bug now; said she'd spent New Year's eve putting together a ginger mead.
