I am SOOOO overbooked this week
Mar. 12th, 2004 07:26 amRehearsal last night, Cat coming over to work on projects tonight, girls-only party at Jen's tomorrow night, concert Sunday afternoon, seeing Midsummer Night's Dream Monday night. And By's frantically sewing on his coat and a bodice...he needs to have the bodice mock-up for a fitting Sunday afternoon, he's helping someone move Sat afternoon, going to the guys' party across the street that evening, and to the HAS meeting Sunday afternoon. We plan on sleeping in Monday morning.
Scratched the red beaded bracelet idea last night....didn't have enough red and matching beads the same size (or same 2 or 3 sizes) to do it. Oh well. I have some other red-toned beads I could use, won't be as bright, but ought to work. May bring the stringing stuff with me to work tomorrow, since it's supposed to rain.
No motivation to work today.....tired, distracted, and tired of watching one of my coworkers sitting on his duff playing computer games or reading homework all week, for the whole semester. I do have paperwork-ish things to chase today, that's good for a couple hours, since I need to chase down the Facilities Planning Guy, and he's notoriously Not At His Desk, or On The Phone. The planting plan I've done for the additions to Child Care were approved yesterday, and the budget too, so I get to order that stuff and get started on that. It's not coming out of the Grounds budget, that's been overdrawn since October (they keep cutting the Grounds budget to save money), there's still money in the landscapig Fund for new installation stuff. Hopefully, I can talk Facilities Planning Guy into funding another $2K in tree replacements and additions on the tree trail. Got some areas that are chronically hard to mow, and a few trees and shrubs would help that (don't have to mow them anymore, that's a big help).
