Quiet weekend
Sep. 10th, 2003 06:01 amSo there's not much news. Went to Lawrence for groceries Sunday, came home with two more Bujold books. Who knew that Dillons had such a good book selection? We'd planned to take the recycling in this weekend, but we were just too lazy. Met Meg for dinner at Monday evening, after her state boards. Always good to see her & the munchkin. I lazed around and puttered yesterday. That's the weekend.
A is driving in from Omaha this afternoon, and he & By & I are going to the Earth Rising board meeting. We've got a proposal for some drainage improvements on the ridge at Camp Gaea. (Okay, so it just happens to be close to where we camp...that just means we're motivated, right?) Hopefully, this will go better than HSA meetings.
The kittens are getting used to us. The tabby and the milkmaid will come up to us when we go back to that bathroom; the little black one is still very shy. They're starting to look less starved, too. Time to start on cleaning up the garage, since it looks like we'll be keeping at least two of them.
