Did anyone else notice the difference between the US media coverage and that of other international new services on the Lawrence case?

Specifically...the BBC news radio program yesterday at noon called a spade a spade, if they were talking about anal sex that's what they said. On the top-of-the-hour news brief by NPR, on the same station, they kept refering to "certain intimate sexual activities". Or "gay sex".

*shrug*

Or maybe I'm just easily amused.
