Finished the red baby socks last night. Those don't take much yarn; I'll need to keep the pattern in mind for presents.

I'd forgotten that I hadn't started a baby afghan for Courtney, so I am madly knitting on a pink (yeah, I know) garter-stitch, corner-to-corner blankie (translation--very easy & quick pattern).

Before I started the pink thing last night, I'd made it to the waist shaping on the beige sweater. I'd say I'm about a third up the body...it just seems slow because I'm doing it in the round and knitting front and back at once. (I know I've said that before, I'm trying to encourage myself to stay with the project.)

I really want to finish the beige sweater, because the yarnpack By had let me order for my birthday arrived last week, and the yarn is soft and very blue, and I need the needles the beige sweater is on to knit it. *sigh* So much yarn, so little time.

Yesterday was a lazy day--slept in, had good sex, lounged a bit more, went and got some movies (Formula 51, Dangerous Beauty, and Brotherhood of the Wolf), and took a long afternoon nap.

Dug out my recipes past night, and did 2(!) batches of bread--focaccia with thyme and sage and oregano, and cinnamon rolls. I'd forgotten how much I enjoy making bread. Don't know why I stopped doing it. Silly me.

By spent yesterday evening drawing. First, he was playing with flamework patterns for a bit of leatherwork for a friend. Then, he diverted to trying to figure out a way to do a flamework chaos star (the chaos star is now the official emblem of Heretic Camp--which makes sense when you see Pimp Daddy's wardrobe). I think he got a fairly good version, too. We'll just have to wait and see if Pimp Daddy approves. Byron has visions of the run-through-your printer temporary tattoos, so we can mark the Heretic Camp members next Heartland.
