So much yarn, so little time
Jun. 3rd, 2003 08:08 amActually, I have a lot of thyme, but it's in the garden, and not much help in knitting. *sigh*
By was a sweetie and took my car out for a tune-up yesterday morning. It's much happier now.
Yesterday afternoon, we visited classics_cat and Ranj, with plants in tow. She asked for mint--honest! She really did. I have it in writing, somewhere.......Her garden's coming along nicely; I wish I had that ratio of garden to grass on my property. Someday, maybe.
I still have flats and flats of stuff to plant myself. I ought to get it done today, so I've got a few days to keep it watered while I'm at Mom's. I still don't know how long I'm going to be there; it'll depend a lot on how the surgery goes, and how fast she recovers.
Still chugging along on the pink thing. It measures 21" on a side now, and I'm aiming for 36" on a side (or unti I get really sick of it). I'm having trouble staying with it, I have so many more interesting projects beckoning.
Must remember to clean out the beds under the deck today or tomorrow, and start the climbing melons. Must have climbing melons. Must find melon seeds......hmmmm....
