aka--the show is over, and we're starting to catch up on sleep. Poor Byron was asleep in his chair before 8pm last night. He actually started to doze off in the restaurant while we were at dinner with friends. Been lazy al day; that'll help make up for the weeks of no sleep leading up to the show.

The show seemed to go well; we'll know better after Christmas, when we know how many orders were generated. More later, when I've finished decompressing.

Been knitting most of the day; got the main part of the white shawl done, and have a few inches of the edging worked. That's the slow part. It's a garter stitch short-row edging, like I've done on the triangular shawls before, but in a simple lace pattern. It's an easy pattern, but it's 20 sts wide,a dn that makes it slower. I can't wait to see more of it done--the last few inches of the body of the shawl are in a light cream mohair blend, very soft and fuzzy and halo-like. The edging is in a crisp bright white cotton--the visual density and rough texture of the edging are a wonderful contrast. I'll have to use this type of edging pattern again.

I'm not feeling really talkative tonight; I'm going to go knit now.
